Recently, with financial support from Hapin, the documentary Yawa Datum was released by the independent filmmaker group Imaji Papua. Their productions address various social issues, and Yawa Datum highlights the role of young Papuans in the fight for conservation at a renowned birdwatching site just outside Jayapura.

You can rent this 20-minute documentary (with English subtitles) to watch yourself or to show at an event or fundraiser. A small fee is requested, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the filmmakers. They work at their own expense and often take significant risks.
