In September we experienced a happy moment: for the first time in years we were united again! Hapin’s board and employees received consultants Irma Awoitauw and Nova Seseray from Jayapura, in the Netherlands. That rare moment had to be captured, of course. Irma and Nova, together with Papua Jungle Chef Charles Toto, were in the Netherlands on the occasion of Hapin’s 50th anniversary. In addition to many meetings with acquaintances of Hapin and various tourist trips, they gave guest lectures at primary schools and spoke at Hapin’s jubilee event on September 24.
