In the future, Hapin will collect gifts and donations through a bank account at Triodos Bank. This bank transition will be phased in. If you still use our Rabobank account, your donation will still be received safely.
Why this choice?
We consider sustainability in our daily work. For example, we have our offices in a climate-neutral building, we buy second-hand goods, and we work with sustainable suppliers as much as possible. We also consult with our partners in Papua about their treatment of nature, resources, and people.
Now we’re eager to take the next step: responsible banking. Triodos Bank is one of the most sustainable banks in the world. It manages client funds transparently and invests in projects that make the world greener, more social, and fairer. This aligns with Hapin’s mission: contributing to a just society for the people of Papua.
What does this mean for you?
Do you make donations to Hapin yourself – occasionally or regularly? You can already use the new account number. You’ll also see in our newsletters and on the website that we’ve actively implemented this account.
Have you authorized a (one-time) direct debit? You don’t need to take any action. We’ll inform you directly at a later date.
