Over the past year, Hapin has once again been present at a wide range of events. We seize every opportunity to share stories about Papua — and to raise extra funds for projects and scholarships in Papua. We gave several presentations across the country, organised a Pasar Papua, and applied to various funding programmes. One highlight: Hapin was selected for the charity campaign of the Wereldwinkel in Culemborg. Colleague Sophie and her son Timo — both Culemborg residents themselves — received the cheque.
We also want to acknowledge the many fundraising activities organised by you — our donors — on behalf of Hapin. From jubilees to club evenings and promotions: all kinds of occasions were used to shine a light on projects and students from Papua. Thank you so much for this wonderful commitment. Together, we can make a real difference for people in Papua.
