Her journey reflects her persistence. Aplince’s family relies largely on subsistence farming and selling fruits and vegetables at the market. After finishing high school, she initially helped her parents sell their produce but felt a growing desire to continue her education.
After two years, with her parents’ support, Aplince enrolled in an Economics program. Unfortunately, she had to stop after the first semester due to an inability to pay for the next term. She spent the following year saving diligently and re-enrolled, only to face financial difficulties again by the third semester.
At this point, Aplince nearly lost hope. She worried about her parents, who were getting older and would eventually need her support. Yet, she kept faith that one day she would return to her studies.
Finally, after two more years of saving, Aplince enrolled in a more affordable teacher training program with good job prospects. Hapin is thrilled to support her through a scholarship, allowing her to study without financial worries.
