The Central Bureau on The Central Bureau on Fundraising (CBF) is an independent foundation which has been monitoring fundraising by charities since 1925. CBF’s task is to promote trustworthy fundraising and expenditure by reviewing fundraising organizations and giving information and advice to government institutions and to the public.
Eligible for the CBF Certificate for small charities are foundations or associations incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands who are fundraising for the realisation of charitable, cultural, scientific or other public benefit goals.
The foundation or association is a fundraising institution with total revenues not exceeding 500.000 euros per year. As a gaming beneficiary the foundation or association will not raise more than 500.000 euros in funds per year from a gaming license holder.
